Parenting class info
Our weekly Parenting Classes are now being offered to those seeking support in preparation for baby. This class is free of charge and provided every Monday night at 6pm in our Training Center. Dinner is included and every participant/couple will receive the opportunity to pick out items in our baby boutique at the close of the class. Every participant is encouraged to invite a support person to join them.
Some of the topics that are covered include:
- How to soothe a crying baby + other survival tips
- Nutrition for you and your baby
- Learning financial responsibility
- Creating a sense of family
- Developing an emotionally healthy home
- … and so much more!
COUNSELING
The issues that you are dealing with are likely not just medical – they may be emotional and relational as well. Hope Women’s Center partners with licensed professional counselors that can help you work through this difficult time if you need help beyond your initial medical care.
We also have individual and group post-abortion counseling available for those who are having a hard time coping with a previous abortion.
CUDDLE BUG BOUTIQUE
Hope Women’s Center provides ongoing support for women and their families. Our rewards program provides opportunities to mothers to earn rewards to shop in our boutique. Our boutique has new and gently used maternity clothing and items for babies and toddlers. The boutique is currently under construction and will open late summer.
Our center is donation-based and we believe that everyone should have access to our services, so all our services are provided at no cost.
For those who have questions about Medicaid or need assistance applying, we will have trained Medicaid personnel here to assist you in the fall of 2023. Stay tuned for more details.
