Pregnancy Test and Verification
Hope Women’s Center provides lab-quality, high-sensitivity pregnancy tests with a 99% accuracy rate. Our pregnancy testing services are accurate as early as 7-10 days after conception, usually before a missed period. In a normal pregnancy, hCG, the hormone present during pregnancy, doubles in quantity approximately every two days. Our medical staff performs all tests and are available to answer any questions you have about your pregnancy.
Ultrasounds
If you receive a positive pregnancy test, your next step is to have an ultrasound. Through our medical staff, Hope Women’s Center can provide you with an ultrasound that is free of charge and fully confidential. The ultrasound will tell you if your pregnancy is viable and how far along you are – two important facts you’ll need to know as you make decisions for your future.
STD Testing and Treatment
Sexually transmitted diseases (STD) begin with an infection that is passed from person to person during sexual contact. If you are thinking about an abortion, testing for an STD is highly recommended. Women who undergo an abortion procedure with an untreated STI or STD have a higher risk of spreading the infection into the uterus causing further complications. If you are sexually active, STD testing is recommended. Many people with an STD go without proper care and medication because they may have no symptoms and may not know they are infected. Hope Women’s Center offers STD testing for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea.
Options Counseling
You may be overwhelmed after finding out you’re pregnant – we understand. Every teen or woman who finds themselves in an unplanned pregnancy has three options: parent, abort or adopt. Which option is best for you? At Hope Women’s Center, we understand how important it is for you to make the right decision. Your first step to that decision is to take the time to make an informed choice. Our trained staff will give you the tools you need to make your decision.
Abortion Education
You may feel abortion is your only option, but you should also learn as much as you can about what’s involved in an abortion. At Hope Women’s Center, we offer services to provide you with the information you need to make the best decision. Abortion is a medical procedure. The medical staff at Hope Women’s Center will help you understand your options, discuss abortion methods, and answer any questions you may have. Hope Women’s Center does not perform or refer for abortions.
